Salvatore Piazzolla

My name is Salvatore Piazzolla and I have always been passionate about healthy Mediterranean cuisine which I enrich with innovation and love. A feeling that I have cultivated since I was a child since I watched my mother cook for my 5 brothers, between the scent of home and family.
In my dishes I have always tried to convey the memory I have of my father’s countryside, of the typical products of my saline land.
My work experience started with some difficulties but passion has always pushed me to get involved and challenge myself, improving myself more and more.
I immediately landed in small restaurants in the bathing establishments of my city, even trying my hand at preparing pizza. In fact, for years I have been an excellent pizza maker but the passion for the products of the earth have always pushed me to do more, shortly after, in fact, in another restaurant, experimenting exclusively with fish-based dishes, I realized that I was on the right path .
Now I am the chef of the Torquemada restaurant in my hometown where you can appreciate my love for cooking and the sea, an element that we almost always find in my dishes. Good quality raw material is the star of my kitchen: it is the one I always recommend to my customers.
