Born in Germany, but the name betrays its Italian origins, half Sardinian and half Sicilian.
Living outside our country for a long time does not prevent him from living Italian cuisine with passion, love and great foresight, characteristics that allow him to look at our traditions with the eyes of a Chef and the heart of a “grandmother”.
His approach to cooking is dictated by a love / hate relationship, due to the fact that he saw his brother Sergio go away from a young age to follow his culinary dream, a dream that he will soon be able to transmit and share with the young Daniele.
He began his training as a chef in Nürtingen, in the restaurant Die Ulrichshöhe, a Michelin star, continuing in the restaurants of four students of Maestro Witzigmann, renamed the chef of the century of Gault & Millau, as well as by his brother Sergio Corona. At the time, the latter was in charge of the kitchen of the Lerbach Castle, a three-star Michelin restaurant.
The Corona brothers, following these important training and life experiences, will land in the Remise gourmet restaurant in Monschau, in which within 6 months, they will obtain a Michelin star, reaching position No. 48 in the ranking of the best restaurants in the Germany.
